New Rogue Object Discovered In-between 3i/Atlas and Earth 🔭 3i/Atlas Probe or New Comet?

A new object, designated C/2025 V1 Borisov, has been discovered in our solar system, positioned directly between interstellar object 3I/Atlas and Earth. Like 3I/Atlas, this rogue object is anomalous, as it largely appears to lack a cometary tail, with only a few observations suggesting one exists. Meanwhile, 3I/Atlas continues to defy expectations by remaining bright and tailless even after being blasted by solar storms and radiation during its close approach to the sun. The new object is scheduled to make its own closest pass to the sun, its perihelion, in mid-November. In related news, China has released low-resolution images of 3I/Atlas, but the high-resolution data from NASA's Mars orbiter is still awaited.
